It’s been 10 years since we first opened the doors to Hawker Hall, with countless dumplings, a whole lotta hot sauce, and many, many noods devoured along the way. We’ve had a blast dishing up this buzzy, raucous ode to the famed hawker centres of Southeast Asia, and we’re looking forward to at least another decade more Hawker-flavoured fun to come.
Right now, we’re celebrating our 10th birthday in big, bold signature style, with a whole month of festivities running through till 30 November. You’ll find an exclusive $66pp Birthday Banquet featuring some of our greatest hits of the past decade, and ending with a limited-edition Pidapipó dessert collab, plus $2 dumplings every Monday and $15 cocktail specials all week long.
Visit us this month and you might even spy some familiar faces from the good old days doing their thing in the kitchen. That may or may not include Lucas Collective’s Head of Culinary Damian Snell and Chin Chin Executive Chef Benjamin Cooper — two of the legends who helped bring the Hawker Hall concept to life way back in 2015.
“Opening Hawker was my very first role with Lucas, so it’s always had a special place in my heart,” explains Snell. “And what a treat to be back, celebrating 10 years.”
“A decade is such an impressive milestone, so of course we couldn’t let it pass without some big festivities,” adds Cooper. “I especially can’t wait for people to try the Singapore Gelato Sandwich that we’ve dreamed up with our mates and neighbours at Pidapipó. Make sure you don’t miss it!”
